Famous German post punk band Escape with Romeo has been around since 1989. After leaving the band Pink Turns Blue, the journey began in 1988 with Atari computers, drum machines, 4-track recorders, turntables, guitars, and bass, along with a wealth of musical ideas.

With his project Escape with Romeo, the ideas of Cologne-based guitarist and singer Thomas Elbern became a reality. Fast forward 37 years, and the Cologne alternative and post-punk band continues to thrive. Their 13th studio album, Night After Night, showcases their evolution. The LP Suspicious Bliss, released in November 2024, marked a musical reinvention, while the upcoming album, set to release in late summer 2026, blends post-punk, electronics, trip-hop, and post-rock, focusing on emotional impact rather than specific genres.

Now a trio, Escape with Romeo channels their vision of post-punk and dark wave without falling into clichés. Attendees can look forward to selected pieces from the current album and an exciting journey through the band's extensive history during the live performances in 2026.
