European green toad mating sounds and Oljehamnen

In Malmö there are two thriving locations with this otherwise rare species. May is the time for the European green toad to mate. We will keep our ears out for their calls. On this event we will meet in Oljehamnen in the vicinity of bus stop Svartögatan, go for a walk along the shoreline, enjoying the views of Lomma bay, and reach a place called Paddeborg, a pond where these toads are supposed to hang out, to enjoy their song. Perhaps even catch a glimpse of them. When we are satisfied after sunset we will head back to the bus stop.

Getting there:
By bike: Meeting point is accessible by bike from Malmö Central Station.
By public transportation: City bus nr 35 arrives at bus stop Svartögatan at 20.10.
By car: Find a parking lot at a suitable spot in the vicinity of the bus stop.
