Dive into the mesmerizing world of OPEN PLAY! This innovative exhibition redefines the stage by blending light, sound, and technology into an immersive sensory playground. Experience the unique sonic and visual realms crafted by three talented musicians—Hidemen, Houg, and goneMUNE—all set within a dynamic environment designed by Alina Ling and the artist collective NONFORM.

About the Artists 🎶

• Alina Ling: An interactive designer dedicated to creating engaging interfaces, installations, and experiences that challenge and enhance sensory perception. Her work fuses technology with various modalities to invite a deeper understanding of space and perception.
• NONFORM: A collaborative group of artists specializing in music composition, sound design, multimedia art, and video production. They leverage their diverse skills to create works that resonate through multiple sensory channels.
• Hidemen: This group of close friends from secondary school, consisting of mattgnaw, lamin, Wira Munir, and Ra’uf Shibel, derives inspiration from their shared love for music and art. Their album DRAGON channels elements from medieval fantasy role-playing games, weaving a genre-crossing sound rooted in hip-hop, demonstrating a unified narrative and collective creativity.
• Houg: Known for his chillwave and trip-hop soundscapes, Houg blends R&B, jazz, and rock. His album MILD NOURISHMENT, crafted with the Roland JV-1080 synthesizer, is inspired by Spyro the Dragon, merging quirky tones with vaporwave aesthetics and exploring themes of nostalgia through unique visuals.
• goneMUNE (pronounced GONE-MOON): A dark experimental musician/artist renowned for genre-defying sound and evocative storytelling. Their latest project, AVERDONIA, touches on trauma and memory, merging mechanical chaos with human experiences, offering a thought-provoking exploration of identity in a complex world.
