Join us for an insightful keynote at FPGAworld 2026 featuring Ilya Ganusov, Chief Silicon Architect at Altera.

Keynote Title:

Survival of the Efficient: Lessons from 40 Years of FPGA Generations and Navigating the Next Decade

Abstract:

Discover how FPGA architectures have evolved through various redesign cycles influenced by semiconductor limitations, market demands, and real-world deployment challenges. While some architectural concepts thrive, others fade despite initial promise.

In this keynote, we will explore:

  • Historical FPGA performance and power metrics 📊
  • The significance of cost as an architectural determinant 💰
  • The evolution of logic fabrics and routing complexities 🔗
  • The strategic integration of hardened IPs 💻

Insights on:

  • Finding economic and technical trade-offs for successful innovation 🤝
  • Adopting a cost-centric mindset to reveal opportunities in reconfigurable computing 🌐

Speaker CV:
