🌕 Full Moon on the Salt River
Join fellow paddlers for a magical moonlit journey down the Salt River! Bring your kayak or paddleboard and experience the river under the glow of a full moon. The route runs from Water Users to Phon D., with a 7pm launch from Water Users.
⚠️ This is NOT a beginner event. Moving water is inherently dangerous — even more so at night. Only attend if you are confident in your night paddling skills. You paddle entirely at your own risk. This is an open, self-organized gathering; no one is hosting or responsible for your safety on the river.
📋 What to Know Before You Go
- 🅿️ Have your Tonto Pass ready for parking
- 🚗 Arrange your own shuttle between put-in and take-out
- 🥶 Temperatures drop after sunset — dress in layers!
