🎶 Join us for an unforgettable evening of music at the Future Transmissions event featuring the legendary Kavus Torabi! 🎸

Kavus is a British/Iranian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and performer known for his captivating blend of autobiographical solo work that intertwines the earthly with the celestial. Since 2016, he has led the iconic psychedelic band Gong as their principal songwriter. Additionally, he's a member of the semi-modular experimental/psychedelic trio, The Utopia Strong, and a former guitarist for the cult band Cardiacs.

Kavus has also performed at notable festivals across the UK, including a remarkable appearance at Wembley Stadium for Blur’s comeback performance, alongside DJ Steve Davis. In 2021, he released his memoir, Medical Grade Music, recognized as Shindig’s music book of the year. Look forward to his commissioned piece, ‘Lion Of The Lord’s Elect,’ debuting at Roadburn Festival in April 2024!
