Sobre el evento
Embark on a special guided walk designed for those who may find walking challenging but still wish to relish the joy of a leisurely stroll.
Join us for a gentle guided experience led by our knowledgeable volunteer guides. The walk features:
- Flat Terrain: Perfect for a manageable, shorter trek.
- Engaging Stories: Discover remarkable individuals laid to rest here and learn about their significant contributions to society, including musicians, retailers, art dealers, scientists, agriculturists, and philanthropists.
- Commonwealth War Graves: Witness beautiful rose gardens and hear stories of a Chief Rabbi who famously opposed the white slave trade.
The walk begins with a short video in the Heritage Centre while seated, followed by a 50-minute stroll. At the end of your walk, hot drinks will be available to enjoy.
Additional Details:
- Free Parking: Convenient for all visitors.
- Wheelchair Available: On request for those who need it.
- Start Point: The walk begins at the Heritage Centre (the first building by the entrance).
We encourage you to allocate extra time before or after the walk to explore the Heritage Centre exhibition and the historic funerary buildings at your own pace.
