Hunger To Create

With an emphasis on boundary-pushing live electronic music, Hunger to Create aims to take audiences beyond the possibilities of recorded music or a typical clubbing experience. Curated as always by sound artist and Klubnacht regular Dasha Rush, who favors techno, ambient and experimental music, this edition of the series features Ukraine-born, Netherlands-based Limewax, bringing a high-impact and immersive live set of industrial sounds and shadowy DnB. Also performing is Helene Vogelsinger, who uses modular synths to create ambient, drone and experimental compositions that are full of texture, resonance and emotional depth. With a mischievous but no less experimental approach, interdisciplinary artist Juliana Huxtable will offer an unorthodox, genre-bulldozing DJ set, while Sofya Shaikut & Valentin Tszin will add a ceremonial visual element to the night through their butoh performance.
