About the Speakers:

Andrew Ng
An interdisciplinary arts practitioner, researcher, and educator, Andrew explores queer vernacular photography while illuminating pre-1990 visual culture in Singapore. His rich academic background supports his current focus on queer photographic representation. 📖🎓

June Chua
Founder of The T Project, June has made significant strides in supporting Singapore’s transgender community. Under her leadership, initiatives like the Alicia Community Centre have emerged, providing essential resources and support to transgender youth. 🏳️‍⚧️💖

Marla Bendini
A cross-disciplinary artist, Marla creatively engages through painting, performance, and installation. Their work challenges societal narratives and utilizes personal history in storytelling to foster connection and understanding. 🎨💬

Kathleen Ditzig
Curator at National Gallery Singapore, Kathleen brings her expertise in modern and contemporary Southeast Asian art. Her research intersects with global histories and cultural policy, making her a pivotal figure in art discourse. 🏛️📚
