Imbolc - Candlemas on Primrose Hill, London

Join us in the enchanting Hawthorn Grove on the Western side of Primrose Hill to welcome the first signs of spring! 🌱 Gather at 12:30 for a 1 PM start as we celebrate Imbolc, also known as Candlemas. This marks the beginning of spring, when the first green shoots make their appearance and stretch towards the sun.

This cherished tradition, initiated by Iolo Morganwg in 1792, honors the 3 Druidic Freedoms: freedom of thought, freedom of speech, and freedom of association. 🌍✨

Feel free to bring food and drink to share! There will be a small fee of £3 to cover expenses, and don’t forget your goblet or cup for drinks. 🥤🍽️

• Nearest tube: Chalk Farm or Swiss Cottage.
• Look for the Iolo Morganwg memorial plaque—we gather under the Hawthorn grove nearby.
