In-Person Drivers Education Class

Begin the steps toward earning your Kansas Driver's License by enrolling in one of our Drivers Ed courses at ICT North Star Driving Academy. The course includes 8-hours of classroom instruction (beginning on date of scheduled event) and 6-7 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction (vehicle provided by ICT North Star DA). Students must pass a 30-question written exam at the end of the 8-hour class to receive a paper instructional permit & advance to behind-the-wheel training. Students must pass a comprehensive driving exam at the end of their behind-the-wheel instruction to receive their Certificate of Completion that can be taken to the DMV when eligible for KS Drivers License.Enrollment appointment required to reserve your spot. We are taking walk-in enrollments on Monday, 7/6/26 from 9AM - 3PM. $150 non-refundable deposit & enrollment paperwork required to enroll in the course. Enrollment paperwork must be completed in-person at our offices at 2311 N Amidon, Suite B, Wichita, KS, 67204 prior to date of the scheduled course. Proof of identification required (2 forms of ID - Social Security Card and Birth Certificate preferred). Students must be 14 years of age or older. Parent or guardian must accompany students under the age of 16 at enrollment appointment (also encouraged for students under the age of 18).
