Forest School Leaders, Youth/Children's Workers, Scout/Guide Leaders, DofE Leaders, Outdoor Coaches/Educators, Adventure/Expedition Leaders, and Early Years Practitioners. Even if you focus on indoor food preparation, the knowledge gained will be invaluable!

🍽️ Course Highlights:

  • Importance of Food Safety in outdoor settings (including HACCP)
  • Understanding foodborne illnesses
  • Identifying microbes and their locations
  • Personal Hygiene essentials
  • Planning safe food preparation through HACCP
  • Best practices in Temperature Control, Storage, Handling, and Cooking.

✨ You'll also prepare a delicious full meal together, featuring simple and affordable recipes like Dhal, flatbreads, fritters, and pancakes—no need to bring food unless you prefer! We'll have a refreshment area with hot beverages for your convenience.
