Global blues-rock star Joe Bonamassa is returning to Poland!
The artist will perform on 11 November 2026 in Wrocław, at the monumental Centennial Hall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This exclusive concert in Poland will take place as part of the prestigious Ethno Jazz Festival, in cooperation with the Guinness World Record–holding "Thanks Jimi Festival" (Gitarowy Rekord Świata) – the world’s largest guitar celebration, held annually in Wrocław.
Joe Bonamassa is considered one of the most outstanding guitarists and vocalists on the contemporary blues-rock scene. He is a world-renowned artist with four Grammy nominations, four Blues Music Awards, and an astonishing 29 albums that have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. His latest album, Breakthrough, further confirms his enduring creativity and passion. Throughout his impressive career, Bonamassa has released more than fifty albums – studio, live, as well as side-projects such as Black Country Communion and Rock Candy Funk Party.
The Wrocław concert promises to be an extraordinary musical event, blending the energy of blues, rock, and soul with the virtuosity that has captivated fans worldwide for years. The audience can expect both the artist’s greatest hits and tracks from his newest repertoire.
Ethno Jazz Festival – World-Class Stars in Wrocław
For nearly two decades, the Ethno Jazz Festival has been one of the most recognizable concert series in Poland and a pillar of Wrocław’s music scene. It has hosted world-class artists such as Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, Paco de Lucía, Marcus Miller, Bobby McFerrin, Pat Metheny, Cesaria Evora, Mariza, Richard Bona, and many others. Organized by the “Nasze Miasto Wrocław” Cultural Initiatives Support Association, the festival attracts audiences from across the country, presenting top-quality music ranging from jazz and blues to folk, world music, and experimental sounds.
This year’s edition, enriched by Bonamassa’s concert, promises to be one of the most important musical events of 2026 in Poland. The cooperation with the Thanks Jimi Festival, which gathers thousands of guitarists in Wrocław every year, highlights the unique nature of this event and its significance for guitar enthusiasts across the globe.
