Joining Jefferson Starship in 1979, Thomas recorded classics like “Jane” and “Layin’ It on the Line.” As part of STARSHIP, he helped the band achieve global success with multiple No. 1 hits such as “We Built This City,” “Sara,” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” the latter featured in the movies Mannequin and Oscar-nominated.
