Join us for this engaging workshop led by certified instructors from the American Canoe Association, designed to introduce participants to the exciting world of kayaking on calm waters! 🌊

What to Expect:

• Safety First: Learn essential safety topics and instructions on land before hitting the water!
• Paddle Techniques: Get hands-on demonstrations of various paddle strokes and kayak types.
• Wet Exits: Watch instructors demonstrate crucial wet exit techniques on the water, plus plenty of time to practice your paddling skills!

Details:

• Cost: $35 per person 💵
• Age Requirement: Ages 12 and older (must be accompanied by a registered adult)

All equipment is provided, but personal kayaks are welcome!
Dress comfortably in clothes that can get wet, including water shoes or old gym shoes. Don’t forget essentials like sunscreen, sunglasses, and a water bottle! ☀️🕶️💧

Access to the water is easy from a paved parking lot leading to the boat ramp. If you need any assistance or accommodations, please submit a request here at least 48 hours in advance.
