The exhibition will be guided by its curator, Jan Bureš.

The exhibition highlights cottages and weekend homes as an important yet often overlooked typology in the development of modern architecture and residential design in the 20th century. The central theme of the exhibition is specific examples of cottages and weekend homes and the evolution of their architecture throughout the 20th century, from the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic to the end of the socialist era.

Architectural historian and journalist Adam Štěch curated the exhibition in collaboration with architect Jan Bureš. The exhibition is largely based on a rich collection of photographs that Adam Štěch took during his travels to cottages and summer homes around the world and in the Czech Republic.
