We're thrilled to launch this creative adventure at Thoughtworks Berlin.

KREATIV UNTAPPED is a unique creative playground born in Berlin, focusing on the discipline that lies at the heart of every art form: storytelling. Because here's the truth: AI cannot replace the human urge to create. Creativity is what defines us as human beings — it's a muscle in need of regular training. Many of us have neglected this.

KREATIV UNTAPPED seeks to change that, offering hands-on sessions led by working practitioners across various disciplines including visual arts, narrative, and performative arts.
This evening is all about words, voice, and presence. In our screen-dominated world, we often forget the simple art of storytelling. This is your opportunity to practice connecting through your voice, your hands, and your personal narratives.

Expect:

• A thought-provoking provocation from Ben
• A hands-on storytelling session, complete with a sketching component to bring your creativity to life
• Group sharing to discuss your experiences, insights, and sketches
• Time to connect with fellow attendees

About Ben Sauer

Ben Sauer is an acclaimed speaker, author, and coach, specializing in the art of strategic storytelling. He is the author of Death by Screens: How to Present High-Stakes Digital Design Work and Live to Tell the Tale, a must-read for designers and creatives seeking to engage their audiences meaningfully.
His impressive background includes years as a UX designer at Clearleft, where he collaborated with notable organizations such as the BBC, Penguin Random House, and Tesco. As the former Director of Product for AI at Babylon Health, he led a team of 100 on products valued at over $100 million. Ben has trained teams at NASA, Amazon, and the BBC, and is known for consistently being a top-rated speaker at events like The Economist and NEXT Conference. His eclectic background in comedy, software, and English literature makes him uniquely qualified to guide this session.
