"Berlin meets japan - and somewhere in between, our story begins. in 2017, a bowl of matcha in a berlin backyard set us on a path that still guides us today: the search for that clear, intense feeling. it led us to wazuka, yame and kagoshima, where we met tea farmers and masters we now work with directly.
amika matcha was born out of friendship - and that’s exactly what it’s about: connection, trust and shared enjoyment. our matchas reflect the diversity of their origins -sometimes bold and vibrant, sometimes soft and deep, but always with character.
we don’t want to be just a product, but a moment: clear in the mind, awake in the body, present in the now."
