Lindy Hop Across the Ages — afternoon dance and discussions!

Join us for a vibrant celebration of dance and community! 💃🕺 Experience the energy and joy of the swing dancing culture led by the renowned George Gee, who has spent nearly 50 years fostering multigenerational connections. This special event takes place in the charming Salmagundi Club, where we’ll discuss the importance of inclusivity for elders in our events and environments.

What to Expect:

• 1:00 PM: Doors open
• 1:30 PM: "Get to Know George Gee" presentation 🥁
• 2:00 PM: Panel discussion featuring Lindy Hop elders: Eugene "Ice" Hammond, Sylvan "Charlie" Charles, Mickey Davidson, and Margaret Batiuchok 🎤
• 2:45 PM: Open social dancing with live music from The George Gee Swing All-Stars 🎷🎺
• 4:00 PM: Program concludes
