TUNING SCORES OBSERVATORY je součástí programu workshopového týdne. Je to otevřené setkání pro veřejnost, v rámci něhož budou mít diváci možnost nahlédnout do procesu práce laboratoře a sledovat, jak se principy Tuning Scores odehrávají v živé situaci. Observatory není představením v tradičním slova smyslu, ale sdílením tvůrčího procesu – možností pozorovat vznik kompozice v reálném čase pod vedením americké legendy taneční postmoderny, Lisy Nelson. Součástí bude diskuse s účastníky workshopu a Lisou Nelson.

TUNING SCORES LABORATORY – kompozice, komunikace a smysl pro představivost / WORKSHOP
Tuning scores nabízejí multisenzorický přístup k otázkám: co „vidíme“, když se díváme na tanec? Co „vidíme“ zevnitř tance? Scores nabízejí nástroje a praktiky vnitřní i vnější komunikace, které zviditelňují způsoby, jakými každý z nás vnímá a dává smysl pohybu, a iniciují hravý dialog v akci o prostoru, čase, pohybu a touze komponovat zážitky. Tuning Scores jsou živým formátem, který se dotýká (ne)obyčejného sebepoznání, které oživuje naše volby jako bytostí a umělců čelících výzvám společně – s nástroji ke společnému přetvoření iluzí našeho vratkého světa.

Kdy: 3. – 9. srpna 2026 (1 den venku mimo studio; 8. 8. prezentace v otevřené hodině)
Časy: 10:00 – 16:00 (hodinová přestávka na oběd)
Místo: Komunitní centrum Žižkostel, Praha
Workshop, Observatory i diskuse jsou vedeny v angličtině.

TUNING SCORES OBSERVATORY is part of the workshop week programme. It is an open event for the public, offering audiences the opportunity to observe the laboratory's working process and witness how the principles of Tuning Scores unfold in a live setting. Observatory is not a performance in the traditional sense, but rather a sharing of the creative process—an opportunity to observe the emergence of a composition in real time under the guidance of the legendary American postmodern dance artist Lisa Nelson. The event will conclude with a discussion featuring the workshop participants and Lisa Nelson.

TUNING SCORES LABORATORY – composition, communication, & the sense of imagination / WORKSHOP
Tuning scores offer multi-sensorial approach to the questions: what do we “see” when we’re looking at dance? What do we “see” from within the dance? The scores offer inner and outer communication tools and practices that make apparent the ways each of us sense and make sense of movement, initiating a playful dialogue-in-action about space, time, movement, and the desire to compose experience. Tuning Scores are a living format that touches the (extra)ordinary self-knowledge that animates our choices as beings and artists facing challenges together—with tools to collectively re-imagine the illusions of our wobbly world.
