LSJC - Jeep Academy: Off-road 101 & Afternoon Wheeling

About the Event

Join us for a fantastic opportunity to learn the art of off-roading! Whether your vehicle is stock or fully modified, this class is perfect for beginners looking to build confidence behind the wheel.

After the instructional class, hit the trails for an exciting afternoon of wheeling to put your new skills to the test.

Location: Meet at the main entrance area. After passing through the gate, head to the driver’s (left) side and look for individuals in bright yellow vests.

What to Bring:

• A chair 🪑
• A sack lunch 🍔
• GMRS radio for better communication (available inexpensively on Amazon)

Schedule of Events:

• 8:30 - 9:30: Find someone in a yellow vest for assistance with airing down and disconnecting your sway bar
• 9:30 - 10:30: 101 Class 📝
• 10:30 - 11:30: Winching Class 🏋️
• 11:30 - 12:00: Lunch 🥪
• 12:00 - 5:00: Go Wheeling in the Park 🚙💨

Entry Requirements:

• A day pass is required for park entry. Please purchase in advance here. Day passes cost $30.00.
• A current Texas State OHV Decal is mandatory. Decals are available for $20.00 when purchasing your day pass.
