The band draws on various influences, including the primal stomp of early Deep Purple, the apocalyptic vibes of Black Sabbath, and the cinematic grandeur of Rainbow. 🤘

The origins of Lugnet date back to 2009 when Fredrik Jansson-Punkka (drummer of Angel Witch, with a history in Witchcraft, Abramis Brama, and Count Raven) first connected with bassist Lennart ‘Z’ Zethzon at the Sweden Rock Festival. They discussed jamming, and since then, the lineup has evolved to include guitarists Micke Linder and Matti Norlin, along with frontman Johan Fahlberg! 🎤

Initial plans to play ‘70s blues-rock with Swedish lyrics transformed into the monumental sound showcased in their acclaimed 2016 self-titled debut on Pride & Joy Records. 🌟 Come experience the machine that is Lugnet, which is firing on all cylinders—rock fans of all kinds should join in the journey or stand aside!
