Luleå Pride Nightsessions presents Club Mermaid! 🎉

Club Mermaid is a Malmö-based drag show that has been active since 2022, aimed at creating space for and developing drag as an art form. The initiative seeks to challenge conventional performing arts and contribute vitality to the cultural and nightlife scene.

Club Mermaid strives to provide opportunities for drag artists and works to enhance visibility and artistic diversity within the art form. The show has been a launchpad for new talents, serving as a debut stage for now-professional artists and acting as a bridge to the professional world.

Since its inception, they have focused on diversity in their bookings, presenting a mixed array of drag kings, drag queens, burlesque, circus, and more. Notably, Club Mermaid has been nominated twice for Årets Klubb at the QX Gala, won the 2024 Årets Klubb at the Nöjesguiden Malmö Prize, and Årets Scen 2025 at Winter Pride.
