About Elisa Jane Carmichael:
Elisa is a Ngugi woman of the Quandamooka People from Moreton Island/Mulgumpin and North Stradbroke Island/Minjerribah, Queensland. 🌊 She holds a Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts and is dedicated to revitalizing the unique traditional practice of Quandamooka weaving while exploring contemporary applications in her fiber art. Her work has been featured in national exhibitions, showcasing her conceptual explorations across various artistic mediums.
