🎉 Malmö Ballroom Sessions is back and better than ever! Get ready to immerse yourself in an exhilarating celebration of movement and culture as we kick off a new year at a fresh location, in collaboration with TLQ Malmö.

📍 Where? Join us at Ungdomens Hus, Sal 9, located at Norra Skolgatan 10, Malmö.
📅 What to Expect? Our sessions will consist of engaging introductions, a small workshop, and an abundance of good vibes!

✨ About the Sessions:
Guided by the incredibly talented Angel Bodega, Scandinavian Godmother from the Kiki House of Bodega, we host ballroom sessions every other Tuesday evening from 19:00 to 21:00. These sessions honor the vibrant history and significant figures of ballroom culture while providing a space for everyone to learn and practice the basics across various ballroom categories. No prior experience is necessary—come as you are!

🏳️‍🌈 What is Ballroom?
The underground ballroom scene originated back in the 1920s in Harlem, New York. It was crafted by Black and Latin trans women and drag performers seeking refuge from racism within the white pageant scene. This vibrant culture has evolved to become a safe space for all queer people of color, allowing them to express themselves freely. The houses, akin to family units, form the heart of ballroom culture, competing and supporting one another.
