💬 What is Man Down?
We're dedicated to reducing male suicides and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health. Our aim is to create a welcoming space for men to discuss their feelings and emotions freely.

💬 What happens at Man Down?
Join us every other Monday at 19:00 for our supportive talking group! Share and listen as we break the silence around mental health together. Each session is a confidential, non-judgemental, and safe space. We also provide social meet-ups and online support for those who have attended our meetings.

💬 How does the evening begin?
Feel free to arrive anytime between 18:45 and 19:00. You’ll be greeted at the door by one of our friendly facilitators, and you’ll have the chance to meet other attendees, many of whom are also joining for the first time.

💬 What to expect during the meeting?
At 19:00, we’ll officially start. The facilitator will introduce the group and discuss the social activities we arrange, along with online spaces to stay connected. This session is about open discussion and mutual support, underpinned by a commitment to confidentiality.

💬 Do I have to talk?
Not at all! You're welcome to listen and absorb before you feel ready to share your experiences.

💬 Do I need to RSVP?
No need; just come along whenever you can.

💬 Is there a fee?
Absolutely free! Man Down is a Community Interest Company, proudly funded by generous donations and fundraising efforts.

💬 What about refreshments?
Tea, coffee, and water will be provided.

💬 Is professional help offered?
While we are not mental health professionals, we’re here to listen and support each other. We can provide information on services throughout the UK for those needing professional advice.
