🎵 Voskanyan delves into Armenian modes through contemporary compositions and improvisational techniques, fused with a profound jazz sensibility. Expect unusual meters and intricate rhythmic exchanges between these four virtuosos, creating a unique sonic tapestry.

🌟 Miqayel Voskanyan reinterprets ancient sounds within modern contexts, drawing from rich ritual traditions while ensuring they resonate meaningfully today. His pieces frequently stem from improvisation, showcasing elements of jazz and progressive global music, seamlessly blending fluidity and movement.

🌍 Over his extensive career, Voskanyan has graced stages in more than 30 countries and collaborated with prominent artists such as Lenny White, Joe Lovano, and Tigran Hamasyan. He's also composed for film, with notable works like 250 km, reflecting on the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, and Amerikatsi, a feature about an Armenian Genocide survivor, which garnered an Oscars shortlist.

🎶 Joining him are the extraordinary Bernhard Schimpelsberger on percussion, recently celebrated alongside Abel Selaocoe, alongside Vardan Ovsepian on piano and Jasper Hoiby on bass, founder of Phronesis and 3Elements.
