Join us for an unforgettable evening where the Ensemble Nist-Nah takes the stage! This international collective intricately melds gamelan and percussion, creating a powerful and immersive auditory experience.

Founded in 2019, and led by the talented Australian drummer and percussionist Will Guthrie, this project celebrates a fusion of diverse musical traditions from Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesian influences, mixed with a contemporary flair that avoids academic or exotic constraints.

The sound of Nist-Nah is ever-evolving, adapting to the musicians' unique artistic trajectories. At the forefront is Guthrie's innovative approach to percussion and resonant metals—such as gongs, bells, and singing bowls—employed not only rhythmically but also melodically, woven into intricate polyrhythmic and polymetric patterns.
