Mizuhiki Making

Originating from Iida in Nagano prefecture, Mizuhiki is a traditional Japanese art of using colored washi paper cords to create decorative knots. You might’ve seen them at stationery stores or been gifted one for New Years or a special occasion!

We will walk through the process of making a basic knot together. At the end of this workshop, you will know a little bit about the history of mizuhiki and take home your own decorative knots!
All materials included, no experience needed.
