Mountainbuilding / Anna Pehrsson

🌄 Mountainbuilding combines the movements of the body and the mountain, inviting human perception to explore processes that transcend our understanding of consciousness, time, and existence. Over three hours, Anna Pehrsson crafts a landscape of movement and stone, where the now interacts with the primordial, and the fleeting is cradled by geological slowness.

This piece offers a gentle contemplation of human horizons, the effects of time, and the mountain's essence in the world.

This piece was created for Brittanie Brown, Louise Dahl, and Anna Pehrsson, and was further developed for the Ob/Scene Festival for Ko Yunji, Kim Nayoung, Ee Dohgyoung, Lee Wonho, Jang Yeonwoo, Jeong Nawon, Jeong Haelyeong, and Jo Yuuna.
