Stars of the iconic ensembles MIRAMAR and BIO RITMO come together to form a vibrant unique ensemble that reflects their diverse roots from Brazil and Chile.

Marlysse Simmons brings her Chilean heritage and classical piano training, alongside extensive experience as a musical director, arranger, and composer. Laura Ann Singh, a talented vocalist who studied voice in Brazil, leads the acclaimed quartet Quatro na Bossa. Together, along with Bruno Alcalde on guitar and vocals, they present a captivating blend of original songs and classics from the MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) repertoire, each piece delivered with intimacy and heartfelt artistry.

They are backed by a stellar rhythm section comprising Scott Clark on drums and Eric Toralba on bass. Whether they reimagine a samba classic or present a new composition, Laura Ann & Marlysse promise an immersive journey through rich textures and cross-cultural grooves.
