Nature Novice: Free Family Fishing

Join us at the fishing pier behind the Rec Center at Powderhorn Park for a fun-filled day of fishing! 🐟

📍 Location: 3400 15th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407
Get hooked on fishing! Whether you're practicing your skills or learning how to cast for the first time, this drop-in event is open to all ages. We will provide fishing rods and bait for you to use, or feel free to bring your own! 🎣

✨ What to Expect:

• No fishing license needed!
• All gear provided: we ensure that you have everything you need for a successful fishing experience!
• Easy-access outdoor program: enjoy fishing from the pier or the shore.

🛍️ What to Bring:

• Comfortable clothing and shoes
• Sun protection and bug spray
• Drinking water

🌧️ Weather Policy: The event is weather dependent and will be canceled in case of rain.

♿ Accessibility at Powderhorn Park:

• Restrooms and water fountains available at the Rec Center.
• Dedicated handicap parking and paved trails suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
• The Rec Center is less than a 0.1-mile walk from the parking lot.
