
NeuroPride at Dublin Pride
Dublin LGBTQ+ Pride is this Saturday Neuro Pride Ireland will be attending to host a Quiet(er) Zone at the Pride Village after the MarchGet the quiet bus from GPO to travel along the Parade.The parade starts at 12.30pm with the bus loading beforehand - it will be warm on the bus so bring water and a fanAspire - The Autism Spectrum Association of Ireland have said that people can walk with them in the parade if they would like the support. Please contact them directly to find out details. Find us this Saturday, 28th June, at Merrion Square Park at the Neuro Pride ZoneThe Neuro Pride Co-ordinators Nem and Gillian along with our volunteers will be manning the Neuro-affirmative space.So if you would like a space to take a break, chill and connect with your neuro-clann come and find us.👥️️ The space will be open to any and all who would like a safe space to chill while still being part of the festivities, whether ND or allies.♾️ We particularly want to extend a warm welcome to Neurodivergent folks, people who think they might be Neurodivergent, and their families/support people. No diagnosis needed.🧸 For your comfort, we will have beanbags, ear defenders, art supplies and fidget toys available to borrow. 🚫 There is no pressure at a Neuro Pride event🔵 Feel free to arrive, leave, take a break at any time!🟣 You do not need to use mouth words to communicate with us.⚪️ Bring along comfort or accessibility items🚦 We will provide name stickers using the traffic light system: 🟩 Green = I am happy to talk 🟨 Yellow = I prefer to initiate conversation 🟥 Red = I prefer not to interact🟤 You are invited but not obligated to write your name and/or pronouns on the stickers❗ Please note: We will be situated away from main vendor/stage area however this is a festival with performances, so some noise is inevitable.
