🔍 This compelling exhibition features a variety of new and recent works, including paintings, sculptures, video installations, photography, and drawings that explore themes of time, transition, and the fragility of our experiences. Much like the gallery's own journey through a sudden move and program disruption, the works question authority and the meaning of free time.

💭 Through multi-channel 3D animations, paintings, and videos, themes of labor, gun violence, and historical protests manifest across diverse settings—from the oil fields of Iran to rural Walmart stores in the American Midwest.

🎨 The artists challenge perceptions of time with activities often dismissed as “time-wasters,” such as doodling and diary-keeping, set against the backdrop of current mental health crises and breaking news.

🧵 Artistic processes reveal deeper meanings; for instance, a ceramic wall sculpture hints at nature's fragility, while a colored lumen photogram of ferns juxtaposes raw steel with natural beauty.

🚪 A striking installation features an old door and missing components, reflecting both outdated technologies and the notion that time is always in flux. Don't miss the intricate sculpture of a slide projector, showcasing humanity's efforts to capture our experiences.
