NOT YOUR HABIBI: SWANA Queer Festival

Gothenburg… the girls, gays, theys and habibis finally got their festival.

On June 12, Not Your Habibi presents Gothenburg First SWANA Queer Festival for a full day and night.

A new experience connecting SWANA artistry, international artists, underground club culture, drag, talks, performances, surprise appearances and a lineup rolling in from New York, London, Beirut and beyond.

This is for the ones craving something louder, hotter, weirder and fashion-forward. More eyeliner in the bathroom than a 2000s Arab wedding & questionable decisions after 2am.

By day, we gather at Oceanen for conversations, DJs and community under the summer sky.
By night, we take over Pustervik with our biggest production to date.

Expect immersive stage design, heavy soundsystems, and surprises you will talk about all summer.

Honestly… Gothenburg has not seen anything like this before.

We wish we could tell you everything right now, but we’re still just getting started.
So let us cook a little.
