Hosted during Climate Week NYC, this invitation-only gathering will bring together peers committed to protecting the Amazon to exchange perspectives, build relationships, and explore opportunities for greater collaboration. The conversation will include a brief overview of the current philanthropic landscape, emerging opportunities, and the major climate, political, and economic developments likely to shape funding strategies in the years ahead.

To help frame our discussion, we invite participants to reflect on three questions in advance:

What is the current state of philanthropy in the Amazon?

How can we collectively increase both the volume and effectiveness of philanthropic giving in the region?

What emerging climate, political, and geopolitical risks should funders be preparing for over the next several years?
