Official Opening of Plantation Gates & Lodges

Join us for the official unveiling of the beautifully restored Plantation Gates and Lodges! ✨ Be among the first to immerse yourself in our captivating installation set up in the North Lodge by talented artists Leo Mercer and James Hooton. This unforgettable eight-minute visual journey weaves together music, light, and storytelling to bring to life the history, landscapes, and memories of Haigh.

This installation is a collaborative effort involving former residents, visitors, staff, and volunteers from Haigh Woodland Park, as well as young people from Wigan Youth Zone who contributed through workshops to shape this unique experience. Participants illustrated their favorite areas of Haigh, which are beautifully integrated into the presentation, highlighting the historic woodland and ongoing transformation of the area.
