ON-SITE INSIGHTS// George Krevsky in conversation with Matt Gonzalez

Sobre el evento

Join us for an insightful evening at the 3RD ST CREATIVE ARTERY as we proudly present George Krevsky, a distinguished gallerist who has been a cornerstone of the San Francisco art scene since 1978! 🎨

George Krevsky directed the George Krevsky Gallery from 1992 to 2014 at 77 Geary Street, a historical hub for contemporary art. Dive into the stories of George’s collaborations with renowned Bay Area artists, including 25 years with Lawrence Ferlinghetti.

In this special installment of ON-SITE INSIGHTS, George will share his experiences and perspectives on Ferlinghetti’s nautical-themed works, amidst a backdrop of stunning paintings. He will also discuss his collaboration with Stacey Carter, known for her compelling artwork.

The conversation will be led by Matt Gonzalez, co-founder of Roborant Review, a platform dedicated to contemporary art critiques and interviews. A collage artist affiliated with Dolby Chadwick, Matt has been a longtime friend of both George and Lawrence.
