Summer break is over, builders are back - or never left 😉 - and it’s time to kick off the new season the right way.

Open-weight models are becoming increasingly capable, while closed models continue to set new benchmarks. For the next generation of AI startups, choosing between them—or combining both—will be one of the most important technical and strategic decisions.

The evening will begin with a 45-minute fireside chat and audience Q&A, bringing together leading voices from the startup and AI ecosystem to explore how founders should think about model choice, differentiation, speed, cost, control and long-term defensibility.

Following the discussion, we will continue on the terrace with food, drinks and networking.
