Ciao a tutti!
L'ultima passeggiata che vi propongo prima della pausa estiva è al Parco Formentano, a est di Milano, tra corso XXII Marzo e viale Umbria. Il parco ha una superficie di 72.000m2 ed è senza recinzione, quindi è sempre accessibile.
Fu realizzato nel 1969 dove sorgeva prima un fortino austriaco e poi un mercato ortofrutticolo.
Nel parco sorge la Palazzina Liberty che ospitava il vecchio bar centrale del mercato e che oggi è sede di numerosi eventi culturali: l'edificio ospita infatti una scuola musicale, concerti, mostre e convegni.

Dopo la passeggiata, per chi vuole, possiamo bere qualcosa o fare aperitivo.

Ci troveremo all'uscita della metro gialla Porta Romana M3, davanti al Mcdonald's.

Hi all!
The last walk I propose before summer break is in Formentano Park, in the east of Milan, between XXII Marzo Avenue and Umbria Avenue. The Park has an area of ​​72.000m2 and it is without fence, therefore it is always accessible.
It was realized in 1969 where there was first an Austrian fort and then a fruit and vegerables market. In the Park there is Palazzina Liberty which housed the old central market bar and which is now home to numerous cultural events: in fact this building houses a music school, concerts, exhibitions and conferences.

After the walk, if you want, we can have a drink or happy hour.

We will meet at the exit of Porta Romana M3 Station of the yellow subway, next to Mcdonald's.
