Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the foundations of pattern making and the essential skills needed to create your own clothes.

👩‍🏫 Facilitated by Aderinola Oyewole, Director of Heart4design, this beginner-friendly workshop offers:

  • Guidance in pattern cutting, drafting, and sewing.
  • Step-by-step support to build confidence and skills in clothes making.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The basic principles of pattern making
  • How to take an idea from paper to fabric
  • How to use measurements to draft a simple pattern
  • Essential pattern-cutting techniques
  • Safe operation of a sewing machine
  • Basic sewing skills for garment construction

Duration: 5 hours (including a 15-minute break)

🔧 This workshop will utilize sewing machines and basic pattern-making equipment such as paper, pencils, erasers, and rulers. Full guidance on using the sewing machines safely will be provided.
