With a rich history of over three decades and more than 120 shows at Jazz Alley, Pearl Django continues to be celebrated as one of the premier Hot Club style groups today. Their repertoire blends the timeless melodies made famous by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli with original compositions and classic jazz standards.

The band's remarkable performances have captivated audiences at festivals, dances, and venues both across the U.S. and internationally, such as the prestigious Festival Django Reinhardt in Samois sur Seine and featured appearances on NPR’s “All Things Considered.” Expect a delightful evening filled with intricate string work, Bal Musette vibes, and an infectious swing that appeals to all musical tastes.

A bit of background: Pearl Django started as a trio in Tacoma, Washington, in 1994, focusing on combining the music of legendary guitarists Reinhardt and Grappelli with American swing influences. The band soon evolved into a quintet and enjoyed significant national exposure through NPR in 2001.

Having performed from Los Angeles to Fairbanks and graced numerous festivals including the Juneau Folk Festival and Bumbershoot Festival, they know how to fill the room with joy!
