POLAAR presents Peder Mannerfelt, Soreab (live), Ehua b2b Flore & basic chanel

For their London debut, POLAAR takes over Ormside Projects for a night centred on the release of CU, Soreab's debut album.

CU is a debut album that moves between industrial hardness, dub weight, and IDM intricacy — ten tracks that refuse easy categorisation. At Ormside, Soreab brings this material to life in a new live set, in only its second performance after a Paris premiere. CU is album of the month on both Bandcamp and Groove Magazine.

Basic Chanel opens the night. London-based DJ, writer and founder of Untitled 909, she builds sets that drift between hypnotic techno, psychedelic dub and dream-heavy bass. Expect something emotional and quietly radical.

Peder Mannerfelt follows: non-conformist techno pushed in wild, unpredictable directions, splitting the difference between playful immediacy and daring experimentation.

Ehua and Flore close back to back, a pairing that made its debut in Paris earlier this year and left its mark on the night. Between them: broken rhythms, dense low-end, and shifting textures : the kind of fluid movement across aesthetics that only comes from two producers with a long shared musical history.

POLAAR is a French-based label operating across bass music, techno, dub and 160 breakbeats, a catalogue built on weight, texture, and formal rigour, releasing music by artists who move fluidly between the dancefloor and more compositional territory.
