Step into the story in an interactive exhibition celebrating 40 years of the much-loved children’s book by Janet and Allan Ahlberg.
Meet the Jolly Postman – off on his rounds with letters for some very familiar faces, from Goldilocks to the Big Bad Wolf.
Now you can join in the adventure as you follow the Jolly Postman’s delivery round from home to home, spotting fairytale friends along the way. Wander through the woods to the Three Bears’ cottage, deliver ‘royal mail’ to Cinderella at the palace, or dare to peek inside the Wicked Witch’s gingerbread bungalow – there are magical surprises to discover at every stop.
You’ll also find a treasure trove of original artwork, much of it on display for the very first time. See how the Ahlbergs drew inspiration from the everyday magic of the post arriving through the letterbox to create a classic that delights children and grown-ups alike.
