About the Band:
Formed in 2006 by the talented mandolinist Chris Thile, Punch Brothers are known for their genre-defying acoustic music. The lineup includes Chris Eldridge (guitar), Paul Kowert (bass), Noam Pikelny (banjo), and Brittany Haas (violin). Known for their innovative sound, they've earned a Grammy for Best Folk Album with All Ashore (2018) and countless accolades over the years.

With groundbreaking albums such as Antifogmatic (2010), Who’s Feeling Young Now (2012), and The Phosphorescent Blues (2015), they have been recognized as pioneers in modern string music. Their latest album, Hell on Church Street (2021), pays homage to bluegrass legend Tony Rice.

Currently, they are also producing their musical variety show, The Energy Curfew Music Hour, available on all podcast platforms!
