Queer Writers of Queens

Join us every other month for a vibrant Queer Writers Meetup where you'll focus on achieving your writing goals, connecting with fellow writers in Queens, and enjoying a safe and welcoming space to share your work! ✍️✨

Session Overview:
The first 45 minutes of each session will begin with warm hellos and dedicated quiet writing time. Following that, come together for bonding and, if you wish, share your work with the group! Prompts will be provided, along with paper and writing utensils. You're welcome to bring your own materials or use any electronics you prefer (Wi-Fi and power outlets will be available).

😷 Health and Safety:
Masks are required, and we'll have them available at the venue. Our meetup space is equipped with air purifiers to ensure a safe environment.

Accessibility Information:
This meetup is hosted at the Queens Collaborative’s “Collaboratory,” located at 2107 41st Avenue, a fully ADA-accessible elevator building. Accessible gendered restrooms and a non-gendered, accessible single-stall restroom are available on the same floor. The location is conveniently situated next to the 21st Street Queensbridge F station, which also features elevators and escalators. Nearby bus stops for the Q66, Q69, Q100, Q102, and Q103 make this venue easily accessible.

How to Find Us:
When you arrive at the building, please scan the QR code on the door and look for The Collaboratory in the directory to be buzzed in. Once inside, take the elevator to Floor 2 and find us in Studio #213.
