Experience a night filled with music and storytelling as the trombones of the Household Division, alongside London Brass and the Royal College of Music, pay tribute to the illustrious career of the late Richard Edwards—a former Irish Guards musician and world-renowned trombone player.

From his early days at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall, where he swept all available trophies, Richard went on to embark on an impressively versatile career. His musical journey took him from performing with the house band at Ronnie Scott's, to touring internationally with the funk fusion ensemble Working Week and collaborating with legends like Carla Bley.

Additionally, his impressive talent graced the stages of the London Symphony Orchestra and countless recording sessions for iconic soundtracks, including those of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and James Bond. You may also recognize him from recordings with artists like Sting, Amy Winehouse, and Joni Mitchell.
