RIGÓ Choir - Season Start

Welcome to the RIGÓ Choir! 🌍 We're excited to invite new members for the 2026-2027 season! Join us for a free trial on September 7th by completing our application form by August 31st.

About the Choir

RIGÓ is dedicated to preserving vocal polyphonic heritage from various cultures. Our mission is to foster a community around folklore and celebrate cultural diversity. We welcome all voices and backgrounds, regardless of previous musical experience. All material is taught by ear, so no sheet music reading is necessary!

Throughout the season, we explore a diverse repertoire from a multitude of cultures and styles, having previously performed songs from Denmark, Sweden, Flanders, France, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Hungary, Palestine, Argentina, and Brazil, among others. 🌎🎤

Meet Our Leader

Our choir is led by Dorottya Máté, a passionate student of the Royal Academy of Music, with a love for folklore and vocal music.

Membership Details

You can become a part of our choir or reserve your free trial by filling out the application form before August 31st.

• Student Fee: 700 DKK
• Normal Fee: 900 DKK
