Sobre el evento

Ever wondered about the stories behind your seasonal greens or the best way to prep a local kohlrabi?
Calling all home cooks, flavor seekers, and veggie lovers!
Join Vanessa, founder of Alegria Vegana and community educator, for an intentional stroll through the RiseBoro Farmers Market at Maria Hernandez Park. We’re moving beyond the grocery list to build a deeper connection with our local food system.
As we walk, we’ll meet the vendors, learn about the lifecycle of local produce, and discuss how a we can transform the way we view our plates and our health. Whether you’re a seasoned market-goer or a curious neighbor, come learn how to eat with the seasons and support the hands that feed us.
