Seattle Trek - Bitter Lake / Shoreline

Join us for an exciting trek through the historic Bitter Lake area for just $12 per person. Tenderfoot Adventures annual members can enjoy this experience included in their membership!

📍 Location: Meet at the Bitter Lake Community Center, an engaging spot steeped in local history, once home to a bustling amusement park attracting crowds from afar. Did you know? The lake’s name hints at its colorful past, stemming from the logging industry that once flourished here.

Our walk covers 2.5 miles north on the lovely Interurban Trail, where history meets nature. This paved path allows you to appreciate the rhythm of the city while picking up the pace. We’ll pause to admire public art sculptures at the Park at Town Center before making our way back.

To wrap up, we'll hit Starbucks on Aurora Avenue for some coffee and treats, fostering delightful conversation and connections. Make sure to wear your walking shoes and be ready for a brisk adventure!
